Gilles Peterson is a broadcaster, DJ and record collector who’s played a pivotal role in supporting forward-thinking underground music in the UK and beyond over the past three decades. He hosts weekly primetime Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio 6 Music that’s one of the broadcaster’s most popular music shows, helms independent record label Brownswood Recordings, and is the founder of online radio station Worldwide FM.

Tawiah [pronounced Taa-We-Ah] is a trailblazing UK alt-soul singer, songwriter, and film composer. She gained recognition with her award-winning EP In Jodi’s Bedroom (2007) and Recreate (2017), followed by her debut album Starts Again (2019), an exploration of identity, queerness, and artistic freedom. Her 2022 concept album Ertha, created with writer Al Moore, tells a powerful story of self-discovery. Tawiah has toured with Moses Sumney and Michael Kiwanuka and collaborated with Dev Hynes, Kindness, and Mark Ronson to name a few. Also an accomplished composer, her work spans ITV’s Without Sin, BBC’s Black Ops, and Amazon’s Anansi Boys. She is currently working on her third album.
